We sell self-drive holidays to many worldwide destinations and we are agents to some of the best renowned UK tour operators and travel suppliers.
The routes shown on this website are examples to inspire you, and all holidays can be tailor-made to suit your wishes. Once you tell us where you would like to go, we will research the most suitable option for you and provide you with a competitive quote.
If you fly into one airport and out of another, some vehicle rental companies charge a one way fee for returning the vehicle to an alternative depot. These one way fees are not normally included and they will need to be paid locally. We will advise what is included at time of quotation.
All routes shown on this website are based on travelling by car and staying in accommodation. If you prefer to travel by motorhome then routes can be adapted, as time taken to travel by motorhome is normally longer than by car.
What is included depends on which mode of transport you choose.
When you buy an ATOL-protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you, and who to contact if things go wrong. Any products not listed on the ATOL certificate may not be protected.
We are a Member of ABTA, membership number L3832. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA’s Code of Conduct.
As a ‘thank you’ for booking with us, you will receive a destination specific guide book in advance of your trip, to help you get the best out of your upcoming holiday.
PRICE
Price is dependent on time of year travelled, number of passengers, destination, accommodation standard and the type of vehicle requested. Please contact us for a competitive quote on any self-drive holiday option.
CAR HIRE & DRIVING LICENCES
A full UK driving licence is required to drive in all destinations. If driving permits are required in addition to your driving licence, we will advise. A credit card will be required in the lead drivers name when hiring a car in many countries, most vehicle hire companies will take a refundable deposit when you pick up the vehicle.
CAR vs MOTORHOME vs MOTORCYCLE

CAR
The range of cars varies by destination. Compact size vehicle is the most cost effective way of travel in most countries.
If you require or prefer a larger vehicle then an SUV is a great way to travel especially on longer road trips, as they are spacious and easy to drive.
Notes: If you chose to travel by car then your package will include flight, vehicle with full insurance for 2 drivers and your chosen standard of accommodation.
MOTORHOME
A motorhome holiday is a great option for embarking on a road trip, especially for families. There are motorhomes suitable for couples, families or small groups.
You can follow a suggested itinerary or take to the open road and chose your own route.
Notes: If you chose to travel by motorhome then your package will include: flight and motorhome rental with insurance. Camping fees are not included, however we can help with your planning.
MOTORCYCLE
To help you get the perfect motorcycle holiday you want, there are a few options to choose from.
- Maybe you like the idea of riding in a group, making a new group of friends during your holiday, if so, you could opt for a guided itinerary, led by a tour leader.
- Or choose a self-guided holiday, where your itinerary and accommodation are pre-planned, but you ride at your own pace.
- For a fully independent trip, chose motorcycle rental in addition to your flights. Your pick-up and drop-off location and date are set, but the rest is up to you.
Notes: If you chose to travel by motorcycle then your package will include at a minimum a flight and motorcycle rental with insurance. Depending on what style of holiday you chose will depend on whether accommodation is included.
HOTELS
We offer competitive rates on all accommodation, from 2* to 5*, so can adapt the trips to suit any budget. We have access to motels through to all standards of hotels including luxury resorts or boutique hotels.
At check in, hotels often require a security deposit, normally in the form of a major credit card or sometimes cash. Some hotels charge an additional resort fee which is payable locally, these fees may not be included in the cost of your package. However, we will try to notify you in advance of your trip of any extra charges or deposits that we have been made aware of. The fees are at the discretion of each hotel and some fees are only payable locally.
Some city centre hotels in prime destinations may charge a parking fee and if we have been informed of this, we will pass this information to you.
Any room preferences you request, will be passed on to the hotel, these are not normally guaranteed but most hotels will try to accommodate where possible.
ROUTES
Routes suggested are based on travelling via scenic routes, seeing specific sights and at other times using the shortest route.
Overnight stays are sometimes needed to break up a long journey, please note that not every overnight stay will be scenic or will have lots to do on arrival.
All miles and journey times quoted on this website are approximate, as time taken to travel between destinations can vary dependent on local road conditions.
These are provided as a guide only.
There will normally be a couple of long driving days on each holiday, but where possible and depending on the route, most driving days will be between 2-5 hours to give you some free time in destinations so you have time to explore.
It is always nice to have extended stays where there is lots to do and see or to give you time to relax.
